Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s Peak Eye Care Salisbury location is seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead the local optometry team and deliver premium eyecare. You will collaborate with doctors, supervise staff, and drive excellent patient experiences in a fast-paced setting.

In this role you will monitor finances, optimize operations, and ensure adherence to company policies, while staffing hours and promoting professional development. Weekend/evening support may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 4+ years management/supervisory experience, preferably in eyecare/healthcare.
• Proven track record of delivering results and growth.
• Excellent business and financial acumen including operational analysis.
• Familiarity with technology, such as POS and patient record systems.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with managing and associate doctors to ensure high patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Leads team performance, coaching, and development to deliver excellent patient experiences.
• Recruits high-caliber talent and builds a succession pipeline.
• Monitors operations and provides on-the-job training per company policy.
• Analyzes practice financial data and recommends actions to improve profitability.
• Controls store profits and expenses including insurance claim accuracy and labor.
• Drives adoption of new technology and process improvements.
• Staffs practice hours in line with workforce guidelines.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and performs inventory controls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
