Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is recruiting a Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our eye care team at the Farmington, NM location. This role delivers comprehensive eye care, ocular assessments, and integrative optometric services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will co-manage post-operative care, order imaging, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient eye health and overall well‑being.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in NM.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility in NM.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Minimum of 2 years NP experience; primary care/ophthalmology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity and refractions.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions (dry eye, conjunctivitis, glaucoma co‑management).
• Co‑manage pre/post-operative care for cataract, LASIK procedures.
• Order diagnostic imaging and ocular testing (OCT, visual fields, fundus photos).
• Refer to ophthalmologists when surgical intervention is needed.
