Job summary

Syneos Health in Portland, OR, seeks an Eye Care Educator to educate Eye Care Professionals on essential exams and communications with patients and oncology teams. You’ll develop tailored materials and collaborate with Oncology Account Managers to align REMS details with FDA guidance.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS, 3+ years in optometry/ophthalmology or nursing with oncology education, or 1–3 years direct clinical oncology experience, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (4-year BA/BS) required.
• 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with oncology education.
• Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative, cross-functional work style with training development ability.
• Ability to develop and deliver product-specific training materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) with essential eye exams for cancer patients.
• Deliver tailored educational materials for health care professionals.
• Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical team to align REMS details with FDA guidance.
• Provide support for care coordination as needed.
