Job summary

Visionworks in Attleboro, MA seeks a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to ensure a great patient experience by preparing patients for on-site or remote examinations, conducting pre-exam tests, and explaining each step of the process. Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• Optical or healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office/business professionalism required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registration and gather information for EMR.
• Assist onsite doctor with eye examinations and document results.
• Explain preliminary testing to patients and document results in EMR.
• Assist remote patients through remote eye exam process including testing and video conferencing.
• Coordinate with retail associates to schedule appointments and manage exam books.
