Job summary

BRT Extrusions Inc in Niles, OH, is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to lead a shift in the Extrusions Department. You will supervise up to seven operators on an extrusion press, ensure conformance to die prints and work instructions, and drive safety and efficiency on the floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of extrusion/manufacturing supervision, strong math skills, and the ability to train and coach hourly staff. We offer overtime, a quarterly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of extrusion/manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience reading die prints and using measuring tools.
• Strong math skills and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of up to 7 on an extrusion press and ensure adherence to work instructions.
• Maintain safe operations and log production using EPICS throughout the shift.
• Direct, train and develop hourly team members with frequent feedback.
• Coordinate die changes, press start-ups, shutdowns and equipment challenges.
• Manage attendance and performance, ensuring coverage during breaks and vacations.
