The role requires leading by example during 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, maintaining accurate production records, coordinating material changes, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced extrusion environment.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor extrusion operators on the shift.
• Work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production performance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as shift lead for the Extrusion department, owning safety, quality, and production accountability.
• Set safe work practices and escalate unsafe conditions to the Shift Supervisor.
• Actively operate extrusion equipment as part of the team.
• Cover for Extrusion Operators during breaks and production needs.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion equipment; escalate complex issues.
