Job summary

You will coach supervisors and operators, drive productivity and cost control, and partner with senior leadership to align manufacturing with strategic goals. A strong manufacturing background and lean culture are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; 10 years of plant/general management in manufacturing.
• Substantial blown film expertise may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Extensive manufacturing methods, process improvement, lean, and quality systems experience is required.
• Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 blown film extrusion operation focusing on safety, production, quality, and frontline leadership.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and associates toward accountability and operational excellence.
• Drive productivity, quality, scrap reduction, cost control, and process improvements.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet targets while maintaining standards of quality and equipment reliability.
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance, aiming for a zero-incident culture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams on manufacturing strategy and talent development.
• Set clear objectives, communicate priorities, and report progress and challenges.
• Contribute to strategic planning and ongoing advancement of manufacturing capabilities.
• Provide hands-on leadership and timely decisions in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
