Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Operator to visually inspect extruded product for consistency and length per standards. You will ensure correct counts, packing patterns, labels, and maintain paperwork. The role involves operating packaging equipment and performing online quality inspections.

Candidates should be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16 inch, work 12-hour shifts, and pass pre-employment screenings. No experience required; extrusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Related machine operation experience.
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift.
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to read English and quality test product.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.
• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections
