Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Operator to visually inspect extruded products and ensure quality and labeling accuracy. The role requires standing for 12-hour shifts, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure. Candidates with manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Related machine operation experience.
• Stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift.
• Basic Math skills.
• Ability to read English and quality test product.
• Read tape measure to 16th of an inch.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and within a team to meet goals and quality standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Understand and follow safety policies.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects extruded product for consistency and length according to defined standards.
• Ensures product consistency and standards including counts, packing patterns, and labels.
• Maintains paperwork as required.
• Performs online quality inspections.
• Operates packaging equipment.
