Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for the day shift to operate and monitor extrusion lines. You will perform quality checks, assist with changeovers, and ensure product specifications are met.

Education of a High School Diploma or GED is required, with at least six months of production experience preferred. Benefits start on day one, and safety is a priority on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related or production experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and have working knowledge of machine mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Verify operational status of equipment on start-up.
• Maintain extrusion line equipment settings to meet product specs.
• Perform quality checks on finished product and document results.
• Notify supervisors of deviations for corrective action.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Supervisors about machine issues.
• Assist with machine output changeovers during shifts.
• Conduct line and panel quality checks (thickness, width, length, etc.).
• Record time and complete extrusion/QA paperwork.
• Adhere to health and safety practices at all times.
