Amcor is seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator support role to provide direction and technical guidance for shift operations and extrusion operators. The role ensures adherence to SOPs, resolves operator problems, and leads change-overs to minimize downtime and scrap.

You will assist in preparing production runs, ensuring materials availability, and providing coaching to operators while maintaining product quality and process control. This position is part of Amcor’s manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent training and specialized training.
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Helps manage the technical side of the Extrusion Operators assignment.
• Ensure products are within specification and proper quality is attained before initiating the production run.
• Confirms process controls are functioning properly.
• Directs and participates in the change-over process to new product.
• Ensures raw materials are available for continuous processing and may make basic repairs/adjustments when necessary.
