Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500® company, is seeking team members for our steel and construction reinforcement operations. You may spend your day operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment, and solving technical challenges with strong training and support from your team.

You will be trained to adapt to changing priorities, perform quality inspections, and ensure accurate shift carry-overs, maintaining safety and efficiency across the production floor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and monitor output quality.
• Complete paperwork and job status associated with shift.
• Adjust machinery and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Convey shift information to incoming operators during handovers.
• Maintain an organized workstation and follow safety policies.

What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment and monitor the quality of output and machine performance
• Confirm work receipt and complete other required paperwork
• Adapting to changing priorities; making plans to achieve those goals and implementing them
• Adjust machines using company-supplied hand tools and minor maintenance; asking questions and getting clarifications as needed
• Work independently performing quality inspections on own work to meet production standards
• Ensure that all pertinent information related to shift carry-over, including job and machine status, is conveyed to the incoming operators during shift transitions.
• Maintain an organized workstation
• Attend appropriate training and meetings as required
• Always adhere to company safety policies and procedures

What You'll Need

• Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed

• High School Diploma or GED
