Job summary

CMC provides a comprehensive opportunity in our steel reinforcement and construction products environment. You will operate production machines, participate in safety programs, and cross-train across multiple systems while supporting our manufacturing facilities.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying weather, and follow all OSHA/EPA safety policies. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and we offer strong advancement training and benefits.

Qualifications

• OSHA, EPA, and all company safety policies must be followed.
• Operate fabrication machines safely with or without supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders/steps, work outdoors in all weather.

What You'll Do

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as required

What You'll Need

• Ability to follow OSHA, EPA, and all company safety policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
• Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
• Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stretch, bend and use hands and fingers in repetitive motions

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
