Job summary

CMC provides an opportunity to work across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, and manufacturing facilities, operating production equipment and helping keep a clean, safe work area. You will be part of a team that supports the highest quality talent and safety standards.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Prior forklift/loader experience and a high school diploma are preferred as you grow with our company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in recycling/manufacturing preferred.
• Experience operating forklift/skid steer/loader is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
