Job summary
Catapult Employers Association in New London, NC, is seeking an extrusion mechanic/maintenance technician for first shift to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of extrusion production equipment. The role is essential to minimize downtime and keep operations safe and efficient.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting extrusion lines, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, repairing motors and drives, and completing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Direct extrusion maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair extrusion lines and production equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, drives, and industrial equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
