Job summary

Genpak in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep all equipment and facilities in top condition. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and manage parts on extrusion and thermoforming lines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Shift Supervisor, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining documentation. The role requires a solid background in pneumatics, hydraulics and schematics reading, with a 12-hour shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience including welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls and plant machinery repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and building in good working order and repair as necessary.
• Work with Shift Supervisor to maximize production uptime and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety programs with documentation.
• Repair extrusion and thermoforming machinery and setup tooling.
• Follow Hot Work Permit procedures and OSHA inspections.
• Operate PIT equipment per OSHA specifications.
• Unloading and receiving duties as needed and assist in audits.
