Job summary

Cordant Health Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Extractions Lab Technician to join Laboratory Operations. You will prepare biological specimens for analysis under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performing sample prep and extractions with strict adherence to chain of custody.

The role operates Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with pay $20 per hour plus a $2 shift differential for hours between 6 PM and 6 AM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required.
Laboratory experience preferred.
Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) required.

Responsibilities

Aliquot urine and/or oral fluid specimens for sample preparation procedures.
Perform sample preparation techniques including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction.
Prepare samples for LC/MS-MS analysis.
Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
Assist with maintaining adequate inventory of laboratory supplies.
Troubleshoot issues as necessary and elevate when appropriate.
Maintain accurate records associated with specimen preparation and chain of custody.
Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with education, training, and abilities.
