Cordant Health Solutions in Flagstaff is seeking an Extractions Lab Technician to prepare biological specimens for analysis. You will handle urine and oral fluid samples, perform extractions, and maintain chain-of-custody records under supervision of a Laboratory Manager.

The role requires a science-related bachelor's degree, strong data-entry skills, and careful work in a high-volume environment. Various daytime shifts are available, with pay and shift differential noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field required.
• Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Aliquot urine and/or oral fluid specimens for sample preparation procedures.
• Perform sample preparation techniques including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction per SOPs.
• Prepare samples for LC/MS-MS analysis.
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Troubleshoot issues as necessary and elevate when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records for specimen preparation and chain of custody.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
