Job summary

Cordant Health Solutions is seeking an Extractions Lab Technician to join the Laboratory Operations team in Flagstaff, AZ. You will prepare biological specimens for analysis, perform extractions, and maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation under supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

The role requires a 4-year degree in a science field, laboratory experience preferred, and strong data entry skills. Shift options include day and evening, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field required.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Data entry skills (alpha and numeric keyboarding) required.
• Strong hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Aliquot urine and/or oral fluid specimens for sample preparation procedures.
• Perform sample preparation techniques including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction.
• Prepare samples for LC/MS-MS analysis.
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Troubleshoot issues and elevate when appropriate.
• Maintain records for specimen preparation and chain of custody.
• Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with education and training.
