Cordant Health Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Extraction Lab Technician I to join our Lab Operations team. You will prepare samples for analysis on confirmation instrument technology, handling urine and oral fluid specimens and ensuring strict chain of custody documentation. Shift: M-F 10am–6:30pm.

Salary: $20.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential for hours from 6pm to 6am. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a science field is REQUIRED.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Data entry skills via a keyboard (alpha and numeric) required.
• Strong eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to handle a high-volume environment while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Aliquot urine and/or oral fluid specimens for sample preparation.
• Perform sample preparation techniques including hydrolysis, solid phase extraction, liquid-liquid extraction.
• Prepare samples for LC/MS-MS.
• Prepare and restock reagents and buffers as needed.
• Assists with maintaining an adequate inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Troubleshoots problems as necessary.
• Responsible for all record keeping associated with specimen preparation and chain of custody.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned, commensurate with education, training, and abilities.
