The role focuses on field outreach across California healthcare settings, developing opportunities, managing relationships with employers, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with campus teams to improve placement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4–5 years in business development, sales, or employer relations.
• Healthcare provider or clinical environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with California healthcare landscape is a plus.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and secure externship sites with hospitals, clinics, labs, EMS, and other healthcare providers.
• Build a pipeline of externship opportunities to meet student placement demand.
• Lead outreach: cold calls, in-person visits, networking at events.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to align capacity with enrollment growth.
• Maintain compliant partnerships with California laws, HIPAA/OSHA standards.
