Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks an Externship Coordinator to partner with The College of Health Care Professions, ensuring an adequate number of externship sites for student assignments and coordinating site recruitment and development. The role reports to the Campus President and works to place graduates with partner sites while supporting program success.

You will market the externship programs across the medical community, maintain site agreements, and supervise orientation and ongoing site activities

Qualifications

• Experience speaking effectively before groups of students, customers or employees.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state and accreditation standards.
• Recruit, develop and monitor extern sites for student assignments.
• Market the programs to the medical community and grow externship sites.
• Serve as liaison between students, college faculty and externship providers.
• Assist career development, resume prep, and interviewing skills for students.
• Update and maintain affiliation agreements and timesheet records.
• Conduct externship orientation and weekly site visits.
• Participate in staff and student orientation.
