Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4–5 years in business development, sales, or employer relations.
• Experience with healthcare providers or clinical environments preferred.
• Familiarity with California healthcare landscape is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of externship sites across California.
• Establish and manage relationships with healthcare employers to support externship placement and hiring pipelines.
• Coordinate externship capacity with enrollment growth and site availability.
• Ensure compliance with California regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards; document partnerships.
• Collaborate with campus teams and stakeholders to improve externship and placement strategies.
• Represent the institution in the community and at events to promote programs and student opportunities.
