Job summary

Ultimate Medical Academy, a fully remote externship coordinator role, partners with external employers to place students and graduates in externships. You will guide placement efforts, build relationships with corporations, nonprofits, and government bodies, and support career advisors to align student goals with opportunities.

The position emphasizes compliance with federal/state rules, effective reporting, and collaboration with the career services team to foster student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or its equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Knowledge of current interview techniques and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Place Students in Externships and drive their transition from classwork to externships.
• Provide guidance on externship placement and overcome obstacles to success.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, nonprofits, and community organizations to promote externships.
• Support team reporting by updating leadership and furnishing relevant data.
