Supervise Surveillance Team Members as well as observe and protect casino assets via CCTV.
Responsibilities
- Observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via CCTV for criminal activities and/or violations of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Operate monitor room equipment.
- Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
- Supervise department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure safety and security.
- Assist in scheduling and training staff.
- Maintain thorough working knowledge of all Table Games and gaming/non-gaming departments.
- Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
- Review surveillance department actions, personnel, and processes with Surveillance Management.
- Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills to Help You Succeed
- Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
- Ability to read/write in English.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of casino surveillance experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
- Must be able to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other relevant regulatory bodies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Work in confined spaces with low lighting.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent vision and hearing.
- Ability to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
- Stand and walk approximately 30% of the time.
