Supervise Surveillance Team Members as well as observe and protect casino assets via CCTV.

Responsibilities

1. Observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via CCTV for criminal activities and/or violations of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
2. Monitor areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
3. Operate monitor room equipment.
4. Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
5. Supervise department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure safety and security.
6. Assist in scheduling and training staff.
7. Maintain thorough working knowledge of all Table Games and gaming/non-gaming departments.
8. Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
9. Review surveillance department actions, personnel, and processes with Surveillance Management.
10. Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed

• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of casino surveillance experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.

• Must be able to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other relevant regulatory bodies.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Work in confined spaces with low lighting.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent vision and hearing.
• Ability to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Stand and walk approximately 30% of the time.
