The Beverage Shift Manager oversees the management and operational effectiveness of bars, lounges, convention bars, and other beverage outlets during each shift.
Responsibilities
- Develops accurate and aggressive financial objectives related to beverage service, distribution, and sales.
- Manages beverage and sales programs and processes to control and reduce lost time injuries.
- Schedules staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels and ensure optimal service to enhance the guest experience.
- Manages sales, marketing, and promotion programs for the Food & Beverage Department, acting as liaison with Marketing, Promotions, and Public Relations.
- Implements local sales promotion programs in lounges and bars.
- Maintains department’s financial data, including cost and portion controls.
- Reviews beverage processes, activities, and inventory control with the Director of Beverage.
- Handles a variety of tasks and deadlines, requiring an irregular work schedule.
- Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or GED; four-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of management experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or related fields.
- Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
- Ability to secure and maintain necessary licensure as required by regulatory authorities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
- Use hands and fingers to handle objects; reach, balance, kneel, or crouch.
- Regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Good vision to review documents and operate computers.
