Job summary

GEODIS in Brentwood, TN is seeking an Associate External Communications Manager to drive external communications, focusing on executive thought leadership and coordination with our PR agency. You will help build executive presence on LinkedIn, coordinate media relations, and contribute to website and blog content under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Communications.

The role requires strong writing, project coordination, and experience with executive communications in a B2B/logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–4 years in communications or PR.
• Experience drafting executive content and coordinating with a PR agency.
• Strong writing/editing with adaptability across channels.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive thought leadership content and manage LinkedIn posts for the President/CEO and senior leaders.
• Own the executive content calendar, posting cadence, and content mix across platforms within brand guidelines.
• Coordinate external PR agency relationships, story angles, outreach timing, and reporting.
• Lead media outreach, press releases, and coverage tracking with the agency.
• Support website, blog, and customer stories; maintain editorial calendars and cross-functional collaboration.
