Job summary

GEODIS seeks an Associate Communications Manager to drive external communications, focusing on executive thought leadership and coordinating the PR agency relationship. You’ll help build presence on LinkedIn, oversee the executive content calendar, and contribute to media relations, website and blog content.

You will partner with the Director of Corporate Communications to craft talking points, byline articles, and award submissions, while coordinating with Marketing and Business Development on

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, or content marketing.
• Experience writing for executives or leadership audiences (LinkedIn content, talking points, or similar) is a plus.
• Exposure to working with or alongside a PR agency or media relations team is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt voice across executive, brand, and digital channels
• Good project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
• Comfortable working with senior executives with discretion and professionalism
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and content publishing tools
• Detail-oriented and organized with a collaborative, team-first approach
• Prior experience working at or with a PR agency
• Familiarity with SEO basics or content performance metrics
• Experience in B2B environments, ideally logistics, supply chain, transportation, or related industries

Responsibilities

• Executive & Thought Leadership Communications (Primary Focus)
• Draft and coordinate executive LinkedIn content for the President/CEO and senior leadership.
• Own the executive social content calendar and posting cadence across LinkedIn and brand channels.
• Identify timely topics and news to translate into executive content and provide recommendations.
• Monitor engagement and share performance updates with leadership.
• Support executives with talking points, byline articles, and award submissions.
• PR Agency & Media Relations Coordination (Primary Focus)
• Manage external PR agency relationships and prioritize pitches.
• Direct media outreach, draft press releases, and pitch stories with the agency.
• Track media coverage and report results to leadership.
• Maintain media lists and messaging documents for consistency.
• Coordinate media interviews and briefings with stakeholders.
• Website, Blog & Digital Content Support
• Assist in writing and publishing website content and blog posts.
• Maintain editorial content calendar for owned channels.
• Support in content requests tied to campaigns and sales enablement.
• Brand Consistency
• Ensure content follows brand voice and visual identity.
• Collaborate with Creative Services for visuals.
• Reporting Support
• Track engagement and coverage metrics for executive content.
• Support regular reporting to leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Coordination
• Coordinate multiple content and media projects with timelines.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, HR, and BD on storytelling opportunities.
• Provide backup for internal communications as needed.
