Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Manager to develop and implement comprehensive plans for sign design, manufacturing, and installation, collaborating with Art, Engineering, Manufacturing and Production Control to ensure projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

You will select and manage subcontractors, negotiate pricing, oversee installation quality, and prepare final billing packages for approval, while maintaining budget and gross margin targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• 1-3 years of project management experience in a multi-state or regional environment is required; experience in sign manufacturing, construction trades, or related industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend initial customer meetings with sales and Account Management to clarify location requirements, product specifications, design considerations, and preliminary surveys.
• Collaborate with Art and Engineering to produce initial artwork and production approaches.
• Incorporate scope, pricing, and details into proposals or bids for customer approval.
• Establish and update the ERP database with project information.
• Finalize drawings, specifications, and timelines after project award.
• Coordinate with Production Control to confirm schedules and expand ERP as needed.
• Secure installation drawings and confirm billing procedures with the customer.
• Obtain customer approvals and solicit bids from subcontractors within budget and gross margin.
