Job summary

Good Guys Contracting Corp. is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell exterior remodeling and design services on Long Island. You will leverage relationship-building and sales skills to convert provided leads into successful projects for siding, roofing, windows, and decking.

Base salary plus commission; expected first-year total compensation is $75,000–$110,000. We provide leads—no door knocking—allowing you to focus on consultative selling and closing deals that improve homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate sales or another consultative sales role.
• Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and guide customers through significant purchasing decisions.
• Consistent follow-up habits and the ability to manage multiple prospects.

Responsibilities

• Consult with company-provided leads to understand exterior remodeling goals and budgets.
• Guide homeowners through siding, roofing, windows, and decking options.
• Coordinate site visits, measurements, and proposal preparation.
• Present detailed proposals and explain scope, pricing, and options.
• Follow up consistently and ask for the sale.
• Maintain CRM records of conversations and opportunities.
• Meet sales goals while providing professional customer experience.
• Coordinate with production team post-sale for a smooth handoff.
• Participate in sales training and product education.
