Harbor Group Management Company is seeking candidates to maintain the exterior areas, amenities, and common spaces at Amhurst Gardens, Dayton, OH. The role supports the maintenance team with minor repairs and the make-ready process for new residents, while ensuring curb appeal and safety across the property.

Required duties include daily property upkeep, trash removal from vacant units, and collaboration on landscaping tasks.

Qualifications

• At least one year of groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Proficient in the use of manual and power tools for landscaping and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license required (for golf cart operation if applicable).
• Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean the property daily by removing litter and debris and maintaining common areas and amenities.
• Remove trash from vacant units, clean storage areas, and assist with the make-ready process for new residents.
• Support basic maintenance by completing routine service requests and assisting with minor repairs (e.g., lock changes, gate maintenance).
• Collaborate on landscaping, snow removal, sweeping, raking, and salting as needed.
• Maintain and inventory landscaping tools and supplies and ensure they are in good working condition.
• Distribute resident communications and notices as directed by property management.
• Report hazards or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging respectfully with residents.
• Participate in safety and risk management meetings per OSHA and company policies.
