Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior areas, amenities, and common spaces while assisting the maintenance team with minor repairs and make-ready tasks. The role emphasizes curb appeal, safety, and resident satisfaction across a multifamily community.

The ideal candidate brings at least one year of groundskeeping or related experience, proficiency with landscaping tools, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• One year of groundskeeping or related maintenance experience preferred.
• Skilled in using manual and power tools for landscaping and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation if applicable.
• Customer-focused with professional interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean the property daily, maintaining common areas and amenities.
• Clear trash from vacant units, assist with the “make-ready” process for new residents.
• Support basic maintenance operations with routine service requests and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on landscaping, snow removal, sweeping, raking, and salting as needed.
• Maintain and inventory landscaping tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring good working condition.
• Distribute resident communications and notices as directed by property management.
• Report hazards, safety concerns, or dangerous conditions promptly to supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging respectfully with residents.
• Participate in safety and risk management meetings and training in line with OSHA and company policies.
