Job summary

Achievement Prep is seeking an Assistant Group Leader for Extended Learning to support scholars from Pre-K through 8th grade. The role is part-time, with potential full-time summer programming, and involves working before/after regular hours to reinforce classroom learning and provide enrichment.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to maintain a safe, engaging environment while delivering targeted math, literacy, science and social studies activities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentorship experience in an educational setting.
• Strong communication with families, staff and scholars.
• Ability to manage time and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Be on site outside of regular school hours (early mornings and/or after school).
• Provide targeted academic support in core subjects.
• Maintain positive, inclusive learning environments for scholars.
• Ensure safety and well-being during extended learning sessions.
• Record scholar performance, attendance and behavior.
• Participate in professional development and coaching.
