Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking a part-time After School Activity Specialist + Group Leader to design engaging enrichment activities and guide a cohort of about 15 students after school at one of our NYC campuses.

You will lead age-appropriate programming, build positive relationships, and support students' academic and social-emotional growth. The role is on-site, with occasional evening or events as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalency with experience in youth programs.
• Experience planning and delivering enrichment activities for groups of children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families, students, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate enrichment activities in areas such as dance, arts, music, sports, chess, STEM, or other specialties.
• Develop lesson plans that foster creativity, collaboration, and leadership.
• Create an inclusive, joyful learning environment and mentor students.
