Job summary

The Boone County Board of Education seeks an Extended Day Program Facilitator for elementary locations. This part-time role covers two days weekly, Fall and Spring terms, with sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays totaling up to 4 hours weekly plus drive/coordination duties.

Rate is $35 per hour with pay for hours scheduled. Fall starts Sept 28, 2026; Spring starts Feb 8, 2026. Reports to the Director of Federal Programs.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day operations of program including emergencies concerning staffing, bussing, and parent concerns
• Maintain student safety and facility security
• Data entry and results collections
• Coordinate family engagement events
• Work with partners and Site Instructors to coordinate educational and informational sessions
• Create and maintain monthly event calendar
• Create and distribute quarterly newsletter to Site Director, site/schools, families, and other sites
• Plan and delineate Family Involvement events
• Attend necessary trainings
• Attend Site Coordinator meetings with Program Director and distribute information to Site Coordinators and/or schools, as necessary

Maximum 3 hours per week and 1 hour planning per week (4 hours total)

4 hours program opening/closing pay to be scheduled at the discretion of the coordinator. (4 hours for Fall Session and 4 hours for Spring Session)

Facilitator will:

Facilitator will be paid only for those hours worked
