Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a part-time Extended School Day Instructor for the 2026-27 school year in the Town of Texas, Wisconsin. Minimum Salary: $15.40 per hour

Duty Days: 183 days per school year

Primary Purpose: Instructs an assigned group of children, grades K-5th, in an academic based after school program.

Education/Certification: 1 year of college (education majors or related field preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to successfully work with children grades K-5th; Availability to work Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30pm and some Saturdays; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Experience: Experience working with children or adults in a structured environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Instructs an assigned group of children, grades K-5th, in social, recreational, enrichment, and academic based activities.

Working Conditions:

Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent district-wide and occasional statewide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions.
