Summer Extended Day Facilitator – LOOP Program
Department: Office of Extended Learning
Unit: Summer
Wage: Certified - $26/hour, Non‑Certified - $20/hour
Program Dates: June 15, 2026 – July 23, 2026
Professional Development: June 9, 2026 (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM); June 11, 2026 (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Open House: June 11, 2026 (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
Direct Supervisor: Director of Office of Extended Learning
JOB SUMMARY
The Extended Day Program Facilitator provides on‑site operational and compliance support for summer extended day programming at the school level. This position ensures smooth daily program operations by supporting scholar transitions, monitoring attendance, and maintaining required documentation aligned with district requirements and grant reporting expectations. By assuming responsibility for logistics, compliance, and communication, the Program Facilitator enables instructional and activity staff to focus fully on high‑quality scholar engagement and learning.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud to moderate. Work is performed indoors although the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, wellbeing, and work output of scholars.
