Job summary

SOAR Transportation Group is seeking a dedicated ECT Member for an Afterhours Extended Coverage Fleet Manager role. The shift runs from 5 pm to 5 am, three nights a week, plus six hours one night per week, in a high-stress, high-volume setting requiring a reliable self-starter.

You will own the day-to-day operations of your shift, address breakdowns and fuel issues, and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve problems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, transportation, or other high-stress, high-volume environments.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends with accountability for the shift.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer DriverTech messages and phone calls during shift.
• Resolve breakdown and fuel issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with appropriate parties to resolve issues you cannot fix solo.
• Maintain customer service through communication, updates, and handoffs as needed.
• Assist with production tasks including planning and communication.
• Provide a detailed handoff to day shift to empower the next team.
• Resolve driver-related issues that arise during the shift.

Afterhours Extended Coverage Fleet Manager.Shift is 5 pm - 5 am; 3 nights a week and 6 hours 1 night a week.

The ECT Member position is a dynamic role that requires a reliable self-starter with a background in customer service, transportation, or other high stress and high-volume position. The ECT Member is responsible for the day to day operations of their shift, and they are solely responsible for everything that happens on their shift. With the support from their Operations Manager they are a fully empowered unit that is agile in their decision making, accountable for the decisions they make, and enjoy the sovereignty that is granted to them while they are on their shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Answering all DriverTech messages and phone calls that come in during shift.
• Resolving any Breakdown and Fuel issues the arise.
• Getting with the appropriate parties to resolve any issues that they are not able to resolve.
• Customer service: Communicating, Updating, responding, and swapping if needed.
• Production: Swapping, planning sometimes, and communication.
• Communicating and providing a detailed handoff to day shift that will empower day shift to resolve any residual issues.
• Resolving any driver related issues that arise during shift.

• Night and Weekends are the most difficult positions and require an aggressive individual that will come in and own their shift and hold themselves accountable to a very high standard.
