Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs per dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, communicate with the team, and contribute to outstanding customer loyalty.

Qualifications

• Automotive Technician experience is required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service is essential; strong communication helps.
• Valid Driver’s License required; background check and drug screen may be performed.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work per repair order.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing causes of malfunctions and performing repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and others clearly.
• Keep up with factory technical bulletins and participate in training.
• Keep management informed of mechanical issues as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood, theAutomotive Service Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
