Job summary

Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards. You will build customer loyalty through trustworthy diagnostics and clear communication with customers.

The role requires automotive technician experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to undergo background checks. ASE certification is desirable, with competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Automotive Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management
