Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group in Maplewood, MN is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, while building customer trust. You will diagnose issues, explain repairs to customers, and collaborate with Parts and Service advisors to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Automotive Technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order with efficiency and accuracy, per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (employees/customers).
• Keep abreast of factory bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
