Job summary

Purdy Group’s Bryan College Station Toyota location is seeking motivated individuals to join as Express Technicians. The Express Technician supports the service department by performing routine maintenance and light repair services efficiently, safely, and professionally, contributing to a timely, quality customer experience.

You will work with Service Advisors and technicians, complete tasks per manufacturer guidelines, and participate in training to expand skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous automotive maintenance or related training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery testing, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections.
• Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings appropriately.
• Assist with basic repair and maintenance services as assigned by dealership leadership.
• Conduct quality checks to help ensure services are completed properly and safely.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by dealership leadership.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings on repair orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and service areas.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
• Properly handle customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service process.
• Collaborate effectively with Service Advisors, technicians, and leadership to support operational success and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills.
• Support a positive, team-oriented service department culture.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned.
