Job summary

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lockport, IL seeks an Express Lane Service Advisor to join our growing service department. In this role you will greet customers, interpret needs for technicians, and drive sales with strong customer service and sales skills.

You’ll be the primary contact for express lane repairs, manage expectations, and communicate repair progress while noting factory recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience as Express or Service Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with customers immediately upon arrival.
• Consult and interpret customer needs for technicians.
• Utilize exemplary customer service and sales skills to drive sales.
• Serve as primary point of contact for express lane repairs and service matters.
• Understand customers' problems and arrange for appropriate service.
• Prioritize required services, and offer options.
• Set and manage expectations of the service delivery for our customers.
• Continuously keep the customer updated on repair needs and completion times.
• Advise customers of factory and dealer recommendations along with prioritizing those recommendations.
• Verify multipoint inspections are completed and reviewed with each customer.
• Follow company policy and guidelines along with Code of Business Conduct & Ethics.
• Complete required quarterly training along with required yearly OSHA training

This position offers weekly pay + monthly commission based on performance

Job Responsibilities:

• Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
• Tech savvy – ability to use and learn computer systems and iPad
• Excellent communication and sales skills in person and over the phone
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and prioritize tasks
