Express Service Advisor
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document requested services and vehicle concerns.
- Open and maintain repair orders using dealership computer systems.
- Perform basic vehicle walk-arounds and document the vehicle’s condition.
- Recommend routine maintenance and services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs.
- Communicate with technicians and the Service Department to ensure customer concerns are properly addressed.
- Provide customers with updates regarding the status of their vehicle.
- Explain recommended services, repairs, estimates, and completed work in a clear and professional manner.
- Review repair orders with customers and obtain necessary approvals before additional work is performed.
- Help coordinate Express Service operations, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, batteries, filters, inspections, recalls, and other routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information.
- Follow dealership and Ford policies, procedures, and customer-service standards.
- Help ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide a professional and welcoming experience from vehicle drop-off through pickup.
- Assist with scheduling future maintenance and service appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service-drive environment.
- Work closely with Service Advisors, technicians, parts personnel, and management to provide an exceptional customer experience.

- Basic automotive knowledge is helpful, but automotive experience is not required.
- Previous customer-service, retail, sales, or automotive experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the dealership.
