Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers following set procedures.
• Build relationships by identifying needs and offering service solutions.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician to relay needs and recommendations.
• Develop repair estimates including materials, labor, and deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders and log them into the service database.
• Notify customers of additional service needs based on inspections.
• Manage manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service specials, times, and expenses.

What You’ll Do

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers while following established customer contact procedures.
• Build positive customer relationships by identifying concerns, assessing needs, and providing service solutions.
• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer’s needs and ensure the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous Express Lube Advisor experience.
• 1+ years experience as an automotive technician.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
