Springfield Ford is seeking an energetic Automotive Quick Lane Technician to join our fast-paced service team. This position offers an entry-level to mid-level path within a high-volume Ford dealership environment.

You will perform express maintenance and inspections, with opportunities to grow your skills and advance within the service department. Competitive pay and benefits accompany a stable, family-owned local dealer.

Qualifications

6+ months of express lube, tire center, or Quick Lane technician experience preferred.
Basic understanding of automotive maintenance, hand tools, and shop equipment.
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.

Responsibilities

Express Services: Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, and wheel balances.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct multi-point safety checks of tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and steering components.
Maintenance Recommendations: Identify worn components and communicate needs to Quick Lane advisors to educate customers.
Tire Service: Mount, balance, repair, and install tires per manufacturer standards.
Shop Standards: Keep work bay, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
