Job summary

Phil-Long-Ford-of-Raton is seeking an Express Service Technician to help keep vehicles safe and running by performing light maintenance to dealership standards. You’ll work from repair orders, document work completed and recommended, and communicate with the service advisor when timelines change.

Typical duties include oil, lube, filter services, tire rotation and balancing, fluid checks, cooling-system flushes, road tests, parts coordination, warranty tagging, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 1–3 months related experience/training (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read simple instructions and safety/procedure documents.
• Basic math and practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oil/lube/filter services.
• Tire rotation and balancing.
• Fluid checks and top-offs.
• Cooling system flushes.
• Road tests.
• Parts coordination.
• Warranty part tagging.
• Maintaining a clean vehicle and workspace.
• Following OSHA and hazardous-waste requirements.
