Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a logistics specialist to lead export documentation, cargo tracking, and billing support for international shipments. You will draft Bills of Lading, dock receipts, and SED filings, track shipments, and coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to work with internal accounting and regional branches.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in export/logistics or related field.
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading, dock receipts, and SED declarations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Ready to steer international freight and elevate customer success? You’ll lead export documentation (Bills of Lading, SED filings), drive cargo tracking, handle account billing, and keep global shipments moving seamlessly.

• Export Documentation: Draft and manage critical shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, dock receipts, and SED filings.
• Shipment Tracking & Routing: Track cargo movement end-to-end and coordinate routing and dispatching with international carriers.
• Client & Vendor Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, delivering status updates, rate quotes, and daily support.
• Internal & Network Liaison: Collaborate closely with external suppliers, internal accounting for accurate billing, and regional company branches.

salary: $50,960 - $50,961 per year

Responsibilities

Essential Job Function - other duties as assigned.

• Prepare documentation, dock receipts, bills of lading, export declarations.
• File SED’s (Shippers Export Declarations)
• Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery.
• Provide accounting department with proper and correct billing information.
• Communicate withclients regarding disposition of Freight(i.e., tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations).
• Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
• Communicate & correspond withother Companybranches and agents forclientsatisfaction and ensureexcellentservice execution.

Other Skills & Abilities

• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate (verbally and intuitively) effectively with both clients and internal personnel.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be career-oriented, hard-working, quick learner and have excellent recall for past events/situations/numbers.
• Strong knowledge of personal computers

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
