Job summary

Green Worldwide Shipping, LLC seeks an Export Specialist to own the end-to-end export process, handling airfreight and ocean exports. You will negotiate with steamship lines, carriers, and airlines to secure best-in-class service for clients.

The role requires 1–3 years in exports/shipping, knowledge of AES and export customs, and strong communication. Join our growing team and contribute to sustainable growth and exceptional shipping experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in exports, shipping, transportation.
• Knowledge of ocean (FCL & LCL) and air exports handling.
• Knowledge of export Customs laws, practices and procedures.
• AES filing knowledge is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the shipping industry and rate negotiation opportunities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work in a team as well as be independent.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

As an Export specialist you will own the consignment from start to finish, managing airfreight and ocean export related decision-making; negotiating with steamship lines, domestic carriers and airlines to win your client an exceptional shipping experience. What you will bring

• 1-3 years of experience in exports, shipping, transportation or other like experience.
• Knowledge of ocean (FCL & LCL) and air exports handling a must.
• Knowledge of export Customs laws, practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of AES filing, known vs. unknown shipper is a plus
• Deep understanding of the shipping industry and rate negotiation opportunities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work in a team as well as be independent.
• Detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel.
• Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams.
• Flexibility with working times for specific accounts (weekends, after hours, ...)
• Knowledge of Cargo Wise operating system a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Salary: $50,000- $70,000
