mslogisticsltd is seeking an Export Operator for our Houston office in Texas. In this role, you will coordinate export shipments globally, ensuring exceptional customer service and building long-term customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and excellent problem-solving skills.

You will be responsible for communication with partners, scheduling pickups, booking tank containers, and maintaining shipment information in our systems. The position offers competitive salary, bonuses, and a supportive family culture.

Export Operator

Site: Houston, USA

Purpose of the role

To coordinate activities of export shipments globally by providing exceptional customer service through focusing on the individual directly or through the support of the team members, promoting long‑term customer relationships and customer loyalty.

What you will do

• Communicating with trucking companies, shipping lines and customers
• Coordinating and scheduling pick‑up of bulk liquid products with customers and trucking companies
• Booking tank containers with steamship lines
• Issuing instructions for export/import shipments
• Working closely with overseas offices regarding pending shipments
• Establishing good relationships with customers and vendors
• Updating and maintaining shipment information in our in‑house system

What you will bring

The nature of the role requires the ideal candidate to have previous experience of working in international transportation or the logistics industry and it is desirable but not essential that this experience has been gained in the Tank Container Industry. Good IT, verbal and written skills are essential to the role as well as a high ability to solve problems and seek alternative solutions combined with excellent follow‑up skills. In order to support the company’s values and behaviours, the candidate should be a good team player with a professional work ethic, presentation and character.
